Plane Share Details
The Aeroclub of British Columbia proudly presents its membership with The Flying Wing. This plane share program was created to inspire aviation and friendship. Members share a 1966 Cessna 172 with a 180 hp Lycoming engine and a fixed pitch propeller. The aircraft is maintained to commercial standards and is hangered at Pitt Meadows airport.
In order to join the Flying Wing, you will need the following minimum requirements:
A current member of the Aeroclub of British Columbia. The cost is $80 per year. Not a member yet? Go here and fill in the club membership application
Valid and current aviation medical - Class 3 minimum
Private Pilot License, and a Transport Canada Aviation Document Booklet. (or higher ratings)
Cost summary: $100 a month Then $50 for every hour you fly, dry rate. (Subject to change)

Once your application has been received, you will be contacted for an interview, followed by a ground and flight review.
Please keep in mind, that this is a club and the response for new inquires are handled around club duties. Your patience and persistence are appreciated.
